Another ritualistic part of my shopping trips involves a visit to the mall wishing well to make a wish. What good is an outing without the chance of some new and wonderful event occurring?
Being able to stop by the wishing well and make that magical little wish always seems to make the odds of something amazing happening just a little better. Whether I am alone or with the grandkids i always stop to make a wish.
If I have the grandchildren with me then they empty my wallet of all those mystical magical shiny little copper pennies that they will use to make their wishes hopefully come true. I always try to keep as many wishes as possible in my wallet specifically for those days. It is amazing how much excitement the thought of 'five whole wishes' can produce.
I guess the best part of my bargain shopping trips is my bragging rights. I get to rave about the great deals that I have found on my shopping trips and this gives me something to talk about when I run into a friend while on yet another of my shopping trip coffee breaks.
