Drawing is one of the first artistic ventures for many children. The parent puts a crayon or colour pencil in the child's hand and the scribbling begins.
A fascination for colour and art seem to be intrinsic to us. It is a craft that we are naturally born to participate in and use to our advantage. Whether we are doodling numbers, letters, simple drawings, or elaborate works of art, our ability to portray our emotions in written form grows as we develop this skill. It is a past time that is both productive and relaxing. Doodle drawing and colouring is a hobby which helps to develop dexterity, refine imagination, and encourage creativity.
Doodling Helps The Learning Process
Children are often caught doodling in class and despite voices to the contrary, this activity may actually be helping the student to become more attentive in class. Doodling can be an activity that may help them to concentrate on the task at hand.
The words and diagrams coming out from the hand are thoughts that the brain is sending there. Doodling can help in the understanding of a difficult concept or it can act as reinforcement of the lesson and help to put the information learned into memory.
Individuals often grasp new ideals best when they are educated using a number of learning techniques. By listening to the lesson, writing or doodling out key concepts, and then visualizing these thoughts on paper, a student is using 3 methods of learning. Auditory (through listening), Visual (seeing the concept in print or drawing), and the Reading - Writing (hands on), method of learning.
Doodling can also help to keep kids on track and away from daydreaming when they become bored with a difficult lesson being taught in the classroom. As the student jots down words and drawings on the paper in front of them they may not realize that they are learning but they most likely are.

Kids Doodling At Home Or At School? Yes Yes Yes!
Doodling is actually a very productive pastime. It encourages creativity, releases stress, and can help in learning and remembering new concepts. I researched it and studies prove that doodling is good for kids, teens, and adults.
As a birthday or Christmas gift doodle books and binders are a great choice for all ages of children. Elementary, middle school, or secondary school students? Drawing books and art tools are an educational toy, hobby, craft, journal, and art project all rolled into one. Young kids benefit from their use as much as teens do too.
There are hundreds of hours of scribbling and drawing time in a gift that encourages your child to go wild with a pen. These books are hundreds of hours that a kid can spend relaxing, honing his or her creative skills, and learning. There are some pretty good reasons why kids get bored in school. So let them grab a book, grab a pen, and doodle instead.

I Decided To Gift Doodle Parcels For My Grandchildren
My grandchildren have always been into drawing and coloring so one Christmas I decided to do them each up a package of art supplies for their gifts.
I started off with the basic plan of getting my grandkids a few basic art supplies ie: Coloring books, chalk, and felt crayons. Somehow I instead managed to get a little side tracked in my shopping and wound up creating each of them a doodle binder filled with fun doodling tools.
Doodling? Yes, that was indeed what the focus of my grandchildren's gifts turned out to be. When I stumbled onto the shelf of doodle binders at our local office supply store my gift choice was officially decided.
I purchased each of my grandchildren a doodle binder and then completed the gift by filling the albums with an assortment of art and drawing materials. They can take it to school with them, keep it at home as an art portfolio, or use it as a personal journal if that is their choosing. Filled with artistic tools, gel pens, or art paper the doodle binder is an amazing gift choice.

You Just Never Know The Career Doodling Could Encourage
There are many books designed to help pull out a kid's artistic talent but anyone can practice on any paper of their choosing. Encourage your kids to grab some coloured markers or pens and create their own doodle drawing on any scribbler of their choosing. Doodling is a relaxing hobby with benefits that cannot be under stressed or should I say -> with benefits that can help you de-stress when life piles more on your plate than you are able to chew.
