There are More Than a Few Reasons Why this List is Important

Creating a wish list is a very special part of the holiday season. It is something that each member of your household should do and a tradition that should not be overlooked. The importance of creating a wish list can never be understated.
A wish list is magical. It encourages a belief in gift giving and this initiates acts of kindness and charity. A Christmas wish list reminds us how very important this holiday tradition is in its ability to help us to believe in the power of hope, dreams, magic, and miracles. Putting your fondest hopes and dreams on paper and knowing that Christmas is the time of year when these wishes can come true brings an aura of magic to this very special holiday season.
So What do You Put Onto a Christmas Wish List?
What you put on your wish list is completely up to you. This is your opportunity to wish for whatever it is that your heart most desires and not just one item because you now have the opportunity to make as many wishes as you desire to lay out on that blank sheet of paper.
You can make a wish for world peace, for the end of hunger, for your sister to find someone to love her, and still have a wish left over for that brand new computer that you have so wanted for such a very long time.
You can make as many wishes as you like. A Christmas wish list is your opportunity to open your heart and put all your hopes and dreams down in writing. It has always been my opinion that the more items that you put onto your list the better your holiday wish list will be.
It is my wish that Christmas will find every child with a stocking filled with sweet treats and toys. May each child wake Christmas morning to find their stocking filled to over flowing with sweet treats, small toys, and loving thoughts chosen especially for them.
This Year Fill a Stocking for Someone Special to Enjoy
A Child's Wish List is Much Different Than an Adults
Grown ups have a much different set of wishes for their holiday season than those of a child. Children are much more interested in the hottest toys to hit store shelves and all the great treats that they now have the potential to receive.
Every year I would have my daughter write up a Christmas gift list to help me to select her gifts. I would always tell her to choose lots of things so that she would not be able to tell which gifts on the list I would select to purchase for her.
If her Xmas wish list was a little bare then I would advise her to think hard to add just a few more. Sometimes I would pass her the Sears catalog so she could go through it to help jog her mind into dreaming of items that she might like to add onto her Christmas gift list.
Of course her traditional holiday wish list was generally filled with items such as the latest most popular toys, Barbie dolls, an Easy Bake Oven, and her favorite treats. Occasionally a pet such as a puppy, kitten, or hamster would show up on the list. These are the wishes generally closest to the heart of a child.
Throughout the holiday season my daughter would go to sleep each night thinking, hoping, and believing in all the wonderful wishes which now had the opportunity to become a reality. To a child a Christmas wish list is magic. It is feeling safe in the knowledge that wishes really do come true.
Create and Fill aGift Wish List of Ideas for Pets
For all those barking, howling, yipping, nipping, purring, and meowing pets on your gift list this year. A pet stocking filled with an array of treats is ideal for the furry member of the family.
Dog bones, dog chews, cans of puppy kibble, a new ball, and a brand new collar are all great puppy dog gifts this year while catnip, cat toys, a new cat bed, flea collar, and cat tree are the popular gifts for the feline of the family.
Let every pet find a special treat waiting for them on Christmas morning. Great gifts to pass along to your local humane society are puppy treats in various sizes, good quality pet food, and extremely important is kitten and puppy food for the youngest animals sheltered there.
Do up a Wish List for Someone and Make it Come True
When you are finished your Christmas wish list look down the paper at the items you have written. Then choose at least two wishes to make come true, one for someone else and one for you.
One of the most heart warming ways of doing up a Christmas wish list is to do one up for someone who is not you. You can do a list for your local animal shelter, children's hospital, senior center, or for a needy family in your neighborhood. Then you can make that wish list come true. A wish list truly is a chance for dreams to come true. To make someone's wish come true during the holidays is an amazing thing to do. It is proof that dreams really can come true.
A small gift can make a person feel good for more than just a day. Passing a surprise gift to a local cashier or waiter can relieve the stress of this busy season and help to brighten their holiday. It truly is the little things that can make the largest difference. Christmas is a magical time of warmth and sharing.
