Rumour has it that zombies used to only came out on Halloween night but strangely that trend has changed. Zombies have clawed their way out from the grave to become a highly popular pop culture theme. The walking dead are now visible at parties and other ghoulish events at any time of the year.

A zombie is basically a dead body that has come to life. There are a couple main themes to our concept of zombies and both appear to be equally correct.
The first main category of zombie are those creatures who have died and then been resurrected back into life. This generally occurs in a rather warped and weird sort of way though. The body maintains the appearance of death and moves in a slow motion frozen brain impaired state. These zombies are not a pretty picture of human life at all and are pretty much the standard ideal of the walking dead. The second main category of zombies are beings who are still alive but who are placed into a trance like state so that their will is no longer their own. These zombies look much more like typical people but it is their slow motion movements and brain impaired functioning that gives them away. Personally I Think It Is Vicious Rumour That Zombies Eat Brains
The majority of us normal folks don't enjoy sitting down to a meal of ooey gooey brains but this just happens to be reputed as one of the favourite foods of millions of zombies world wide. Which means that the brain mold featured above can really chill up some delightful treats for a zombie party. Ghoulishly icky.
Now let's discuss the logistics of the foods the undead consume. Every zombie I have ever encountered seems to be focused primarily on human flesh and it does not seem to matter which area of the body it comes from. Zombies do not seem too concerned about wasting any time in getting to the brains. They just move in for the kill and munch out on whichever body parts fall their way. (Disclaimer: Strictly my opinion folks.) Now back to some real zombie facts. Did you know that the zombie drink was given that name because a fellow who drank 3 of them later remarked to the bartender that they turned him into a zombie? Yep, it is a true story and a zombie drink recipe is listed below for those folks who want to know how to create one.
There are a number of varieties to the famous zombie drink recipe but all have two things in common, plenty of rum, and plenty of juice. What makes each version of this drink unique is the type of juice you add in, and the quantities of the various rums. Some toss in a few other ingredients as well just to give their beverage a unique taste, look, and smell. So here is my wicked version of the famous Zombie drink. This recipe makes enough for two so mix it up in a jug and then pour into glasses to be shared with your favorite living dead person. Ha, you will soon discover that I completely leave the mixing of the ingredients up to you. Step one: You will need one ounce each of your choice of two of these juices. Some suggestions are below. This will add up to a grand total of 2 ounces of juice in your jug. Now go on and toss those in. Orange juice - Mango juice - Papaya juice - Lemonade - Grapefruit juice - Pineapple juice Step 2: This is where you have to have a well stocked liquor cabinet cause this drink calls for quite a few flavors of rum. Add into your jug one ounce each of white, gold, and dark rum. That equals up to a grand total of 3 ounces of your favorite rum brand in your jug. Add one ounce of either cherry or apricot brandy. Add 1/2 cup water and a splash of grenadine. Pop in a few maraschino cherries. Add ice cubes and stir that stuff up. You now have your very own version of the zombie drink. A no brainer recipe. I am not quite sure where or when the notion that a zombie is a creature to be admired came into being but it probably has something to do with the many movies out there featuring them.
Our modern day culture has now accepted the fact that the walking dead are quite popular in our society. There are zombie lovers everywhere and even special events held to honor them. Folks gather to participate in annual zombie walks in quite a few places across our big old planet. They dress up as the walking dead and they slowly grind and lurch their way through city streets.
