Love Notes: Write One to Your Special Someone
It Only Takes a Moment to Say I love You
To the object of your affection love notes are a wonderful reminder of how important they are to you. A few words, or thoughts, written to say I love you to someone special.
A note is simply a short letter. Short, sweet, sentimental, and powerfully emotional. These words are a romantic way to tell that special someone how much you care for them.
There are many ways to tell someone "I love you". It is a very important phrase to say. The words bring reassurance to the heart of those who hear it. You can shout out it out, whisper it into someone's ear, or you can leave a love note for only their eyes to see. Send someone you care for a few loving words today.
The Words Echo Long After They are Spoken
Write the words in a card in a letter or within a note. It only takes a minute to jot down in a note the words "I love you", and then leave this small letter somewhere for someone to find.
You could write the note for your child, your spouse, parent, or lover. I love you means many things to many people. The words carry with it a wide range of emotions for those who read them.
You can be creative and leave a sticky note somewhere sneaky where they will stumble onto it and be surprised. Your note can be carried by a pet to the one that you love, written in the steam that appears on the mirror while they shower, or spelled out on the food that they sit down to eat.
You Can Hide it to be Found at a Later Time
In their lunch box.
In the cookie jar.
In the pocket of their shirt.
On a sticky note attached to candy.
Spelled out in candy.
On the bed.
On the fridge.
On the couch.
On the t.v.
On the dash of their car.
On the bathroom mirror.
At their place at the table.
Attached to a bouquet of flowers.
Written on your face.
Attached to a pet.
Mailed to them.
Attached to a helium balloon.
Anywhere, any time, any place.
S-h-m-i-l-y -See How Much I Love You
Perhaps some of the most romantic love notes written were those that bore the word Shmily upon them. Laura (Allen) Hammond brought these love notes into the public eye when she wrote the story of her grandparents love for one another.
The letters s-h-m-i-l-y stand for see-how-much-I-love-you and these are the words that were written on the notes passed between these two lovers throughout the many years that their relationship endured. It is a beautiful story and really brings home the message of how important a love note and saying I love you can be.
For a Child These are Words of Reassurance
Children should hear the words I love you often. They should hear the words I love you early in the morning and this phase should also be the last words that they hear before they go to sleep at night. You should say these words often to your child. They are words of reassurance, belonging, and acceptance.
To a child these words are so very important to hear from those who are there to care for them. They are words of protection and bring with them the knowledge that they are surrounded by those who will be there for them today, tomorrow, and forever.
